It's a lead sheet only with chords, but the lyrics are funny and contrary to its real meaning.  I heard this song when I was a boy and I always think of it when somebody or someone is trying to hurt somebody else no matter what the reason is.  This song has more meaning today with PC warfare and preparing our children for mortal combat against our enemies on this planet earth!  This was the 1st reel to reel recording I listen to when I was a kid!

This is truly a great folk song and I hope you get the chance to hear Tom Paxton play this song!  Peace ;-)
